    1. This will depend on your product or service and your location. With the internet you have the opportunity to target a larger number of people. The chance for success increase by the number of people that you can reach.
  • How do I build a website?
    1. There are html programs out there and there are also FrontPage which does all the coding for you.
  • When will it go online?
    1. When you website is completed it has to be loaded onto the world wide web, thru a program such as WS_FTP
  • How do I start?
    1. You use your basic sales formula: Feature Action and Benefit to build a web page that will sell your product.
• REGISTER YOUR DOMAIN NAME
  • Who will I register with?
    1. After you have chosen a URL http://www.yourdomain.com . You will choose a company to register your domain for 1 year up to 5 years. You get a bigger price brake the longer that you register your domain.
  • What are the prices?
    1. You can get cheap prices but be careful alot of them go out of business and you can lose your domain. Go with the bigger companies. DirectNic, VeriSign, GoDaddy or Register.com where you know that your domain will be secure.
  • How secure?
    1. You do not want someone coming in and taking your domain. Make sure that you have the password and you don't keep it in your e-mail. Print it out and delete it from your computer.

    1. You hve to find a hosting company that has been around for a long time and offers you features that you will be needing and yet has the features that you can upgrade as your business grow.s

    1. You can spend as much as you want to spend. On the internet you don't have to have big downtown office building. Your website is your office front. Make it easy to navigate. Follow the KISS method.
